Jane Z. Murphy has been an educator in the public sector for over 38 years. Her experience includes classroom teaching from kindergarten to grade 6, as well as, being Magnet Theme Coordinator for a Humanities/Gifted Education Programs for a K-8 magnet school. Her most recent position has been as principal of the Goodyear School, Woburn, MA which was recognized in Boston Magazine, September 2005 edition as being one of the “Best Public Elementary Schools” in Boston and its suburbs.
Ms. Murphy’s educational background includes a M.Ed. from Boston State College and a Certificate of Advanced Graduate Study in Educational Leadership from Salem State College. She resides with her husband in Lexington, MA.
